D.U.N. starts before Zone Alarm is running

I have a shortcut for my ISP dial-up connection in my Win 98 StartUp
folder, so that each morning when I get up I turn on my computer and it
automatically logs on to the internet and checks my email accounts.

The trouble is that it seems like Dial-Up Networking connects to the
internet before my free version of Zone Alarm is up and running. So I
suppose there is a small window of vulnerability each time I restart my
computer.

Is there a way to make D.U.N. wait until after Zone Alarm is running
before it dial my ISP?

You could install a startup manager. PCMag had one called Startup Cop but
you have to subscribe to get it now. I'm sure there are others.

IMHO you can do it by starting that with a apropriate batch file or
editing registry to start ZoneA. like a service ...
