Start/Settings/Taskbar/..Properties/[General] (X)Use Personalized Menus
After a couple days or so the entries you don't click on will start hiding. Or right-clickdelete Or make another folder in there and drag them in Rick T "=?Utf-8?B?U2Vhbg==?=" wrote in : Under the start-programs ... is there a way to clean up this list of all the programs. right-click then choose Delete from the menu? Still think that unless
you're editing Start/Programs for somebody else you should at least just create a folder in there and drag-n-drop the shortcuts into it. : The right click definatley doesnt work. Is there a clean way? well if you can find Taskbar Properties by either right-clicking on the Taskbar or from Start/Settings, Advanced Tab and push the Advanced button, you'll be able to edit the Start/Programs tree as a directory. If no luck there we'll dive into the registry and see if we can get that right-click to work... this is Windows Millenium Edition (WinME), right? Are you the only User ? Rick |

Yes, the os is WinMe.
I can get into the tree, however, when I delete the item it wants to send the program to the recycle bin. What I am interested in is just removing the item from the dispay under the programs. |
