getting rid of spyware and adware

how can i manually get rid of spyware and adware out of my
computer completely? can i do this by going into my
registry edit or what?

It depends on what you have--three or more programs are generally required.
I recommend you download and use the following programs and consider
removing everything these programs identify. Be aware that there are
frequent updates to these programs and you need to check for them before
every use.
