Default Windows ME hardware problems

Hello,

I'm having a problem with my computer. About two days ago
I noticed that my mouse was no longer working and my
monitor will not go above 16 colors. Because my mouse
nolonger operates, I am unable to point and click and I've
had to result to using keyboard strokes in order to
navigate. I've tried replacing my mouse as well as
updating the drivers on both monitor and mouse to no
avail. I'm at my witts end. I've just recently purchased
this ME upgrade and haven't had any problems until now (I
purchased it 3 mos ago). Please email me back as soon as
you can.
Thank you,
Robin DaSilva
