Jpg's opens in notepad

Hello,
I dont know what happened but all my jpg pictures want to open with notepad. I am confused as to how to make them open as pictures. If I get to the "open with" there is nothing that looks like Jpg.. or jpeg. There is kodack and msnpaint but no jpg. Please help me get this back to the way it is suppose to be.

Change them in Explorer-View-Folder Options-File Types.
The standard is Internet Explorer (iexplore.exe)

You may find it easier to use this:

Hi fruitless,

I have a solution for you. 1) Go to any
website and right-click on a picture(I went to
http://www.google.ca/ and clicked their image tag, did a
random search for a cartoon character(Garfield) and saved
the picture to my computer. After that I opened my Paint
program and clicked the file-open option. I browsed my
folders and found where I saved my file, clicked on that
file and clicked the open button. After doing so, my Paint
program welcomes any and all .JPG files for viewing and
saving.
