Default Data Transfer

Hello Guys:

I have windows 2000 Professional, 850MHz Pentium III Processor, 256SDRam, 20GB harddrive, Dell C800 Laptop computer. My other computer is windows 98se, 600MHz Pentium III Processor, 128SDRam, 20GB harddrive desktop computer. The harddrive of the desktop is getting weak so I want to transfer all of my data, files, applications, almost everything from the desktop to the Laptop. How can I accomplish this?

Thank you so much in advance for your assistance.

The first step would be to ask in a newsgroup more appropriate to your OS's
Windows 2000
Windows 98SE

This newsgroup supports Windows Millennium edition - which, contrary to some
people's wishes, is NOT the same as Windows 2000!
