Erased the file "Explorer.exe" from the C:\Windows folder on the hard drive,
or just erased the Icon from the Desktop?

Start the computer, tap the F8 key repeatedly until the startup menu
appears and select "Command Prompt Only". Type the following,
press "Enter", then restart the computer.

extract /a /y /L c:\windows c:\windows\options\cabs\base4.cab explorer.exe
