When starting my PC, I just receive a black screen. When
switching off and re-boot, Windows starts. How do I fix this? |

WIN98 DOES NOT BOOT FIRST TIME ARROUND
This could be a sign that one of the printed circuits has developed a
hairline crack. When the computer is cool, the metal on the circuit board contracts and the crack opens up . . . creating a defect. As the computer warms up, the metal on the circuit board expands and the crack closes . . . eliminating the defect. Bill Starbuck (MVP) |
