Default error 364:object unloaded

I bought a software package; installed it under Windows ME. Vendor insists
it is compatible. But when I open the application, it crashes with the above
error and closes. Any ideas please? I've applied all the relevant ME
updates. Thanks for the help.

It would help if you named the application!

The application is called Retireware, a retirement planning package from
Apeiron Software. The version I'm using is Ver 2, with an upgrade to Ver
2.17.

Thanks!

That error is a programming problem.

It may be that something in your system is causing the program to use
portions of the program code that others do not use, but in any event
fixing it will require the program vendor to identify the underlying
cause and modify the program so as to fix it.

Good luck
