Just as you post here about malware threats that don't affect Windows 98
users?

What MEB is about to post in response is a foamy, disconnected
ramble that has no logical or coherent linkage to the material
being discussed:

Because per usual with fools like you, that YOU can understand
WHAT Microsoft does with that information

MEB, you're breaking your own rule! You're failing to fully quote me!

Let's fix that right now. This is what I said that you cut out of your
reply:

I make or made no judgement call with regard to Micro$haft and
their information policy which I posted a link to. I made no
inference or value judgements as to why they have such a policy,
how they use it, when they use it, etc.

There you go MEB. You can now post a response to the above statement.
Try not to cut it out of your next reply.

And here, you did not quote the following, for which I was expecting a
response from you:

------------

Why did my posting a link to their policy affect you so much that you
feel you needed to defend it?

Why did it personally affect you such that you came to Microsoft's
defence and post what you feel to be a statement supporting the fact
that they have such an information disclosure policy?

Is it your love or admiration for Microsoft that caused you to react
like this?

Your strange tangent continues:

Just like every society where all of us live, presuming
you aren't actually physically dead, since you appear to
be BRAIN DEAD.

Is it important for you Maurice to feel that you're part of society?
That you have friends? That you are respected? That others pay
attention to and value what you write?

You speak of death and of being dead. Is it because you fear death?
Perhaps you fear dying alone? Is that why you combine these concepts of
mortality and society?

Maurice -

Microsoft is logging your activities at this very moment. They are
logging the activity of your Microsoft groups account
). They know your posting IP address is
76.5.124.31.

Microsoft will provide all that information to any law enforcement
agency that asks for it. It need not be proven to Microsoft that the
request meets any legitamate legal standard. Judges will award access
orders to various agencies on the basis of completely specious arguments
or evidence.

Yahoo even publishs a fee list for access to such information. They
probably don't even require a court order to turn it over.

How does that make you feel?

Let's put back in ALL of the IMPORTANT PART:

Because per usual with fools like you, that YOU can understand
WHAT Microsoft does with that information, WHY it has done so,
WHEN that information might be used, and THAT it isn't
concerned with parties UNLESS they are engaged in *criminal*
activity.

Hey stupid, I TRIED to give you the purported ability to actually
UNDERSTAND what you posted and the linked materials. It says *CAN*, now
I have to change that to CAN'T since you, per usual, are to(sic. o)
stupid to take that offer and attempt make you APPEAR to be at least
*semi-intelligent*....

Might actually want to learn how to read messages..

Might as well change an actual error in my prior:

The *your* is of course "*you're* so scared".

MORON!!!!

What's your problem MEB?

I posted a link to Microsoft's information retention and disclosure
policy.

Why do you feel the need to come to Microsoft's defense? Why do you
feel the need to explain their policy or the defend the reasons why they
have one?

Makes me feel warm and fuzzy...

Now perhaps you might wish to think about your own ISP, your DNS
service, and of all the other OUT HERE who are monitoring YOU merely
because you access this PAYASYOUGO Internet. Some FEES may be slightly
higher than most realize... then again those who DO understand, which
you don't, don't like some of it very much, and even take action against
it at times...

So where are your links to *YOUR* actions to prevent the unlawful
activities that might be involved?

BTW: did you BOTHER to actually LOOK at what Microsoft is doing, what
the extents are, for how long, what triggers any activity, and that
those basic materials were ALREADY posted upon Microsoft.... in fact I
would question what over-zealous party placed the take-down notice... my
guess is they were reprimanded for being stupid.

Just WHAT did/DO you think you have exposed... nothing of value.
IN STARK CONTRAST I posted links to what HAS been done with some of
that information and more importantly, WHY.

BTW: Not only Microsoft, but the federal government, federal and state
courts, state governments, and several foreign governments know EXACTLY
who I am and have MORE information than that. Can you guess WHY they
have that information.
