Pixelated icons and solid fonts
Dear readers
My PC went into some strange display habit which i cannot understnad. Problems are 1. Font in all applications is this kind of "80's" digital pixelated stuff that is nearly illegible. 2. Mindows minimise, full screen, part screen icons are "80's" pixelated numbers and characters, instead of the normal cross, minimise and fullscreen, part screen toggle icons 3. scrollbar and pulldown icons similarly wierd. Everything functions, but the font issue is a problem as far as legibility....across all apps....word, autocad, excel, internet explorer. My Japanese fonts are alright. Plain fonts are OK, but any "solid" fonts become "pixelated" and chunky Thanks for any ideas Dave |

Although generally applicable to the Max/min/restore symbols, caused by a
missing/corrupted font, this solution *might* work for you:- Try:- "Description of and Troubleshooting the Marlett TrueType Font" http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[LN];134861 If the first part of the article doesn't fix it, note and try the section near the bottom page, referring to the maximum number of fonts and the suggestion of deleting the ttfcache file. HTH and good luck Mart "David" wrote in message ... Dear readers My PC went into some strange display habit which i cannot understnad. Problems are 1.
