Adding SBC DSL
I have a peer to peer network running. Each machine has it's own IP
(10.2.3,1) etc. I used ethernet cable to connect all into a 8 port switch. (98 and XP machines by the way) What do I need to do to get DSL access for all systems on the network? DSL line comes in by the switch. Right now, one computer is connected directly to the DSL with just one ethernet card but I want that computer on the network too. |

I use a linksys WRT54GS, and using the provided CD, I had it all going in less that 5 minutes. Connect the DSL line to the input port on the router. Connect the 8 port switch to one of the output ports on the router. The fine manual for the router should discuss this configuration. That's about it for the hardware... Then you setup the router using the CD. Jim |
