Block By Website
I have noticed that my PC is blocked when trying to access a certain
website.....in particular my credit card company site. When I try to go to their web site I get a message "We're Sorry Online Access is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later." And yes I have been late on some payments to them however I am able to access their web site without any problems from other computers. My questions is.....is it possible that they have put some sort of block on my PC computer that is not allowing me on their site ? And if so, how can I remove it? It does get to be a pain going to another computer just so I can make an on-line payment. Thanks |

No, it's very unlikely that they have put a "block" on your machine. Suggest you
go to Internet Settings and empty Temporary Internet Files, including Offline Content, and delete Cookies, also (or at least find any cookies set by that site and delete them.) Then switch to Security tab, click on Trusted Zone, and add the site's domain to the list. Use wildcard to add domain, in order to avoid problems with sub-domains: *.creditcardcompany.com If that doesn't help, come back for more suggestions.. -- Gary S. I simply typed in the address and it came right up !! Geezzzzz !!! Do I feel silly !!! Thanks for you help though !!!! On Fri, 10 Sep 2004 08:59:00 -0700, "Gary S.
