Microsof Office 97

Okay so i coppied microsoft office 97 off the programs section in the hard
drive to the u3 flash drive i had so i can use word 97 and all the other
aplications on any computer but each time i try to use it on a nother
computer a message will pop up and says"The windows registry has reported
that one or more required files are dammaged or missing. To correct this
problem, run the word setup program." and i do not know what that means. I
had got the computer from my mom so it says lisenced to Maybeth Walcott and
it is spelled wrong. do you guys have any solutions for my problem and the
97 office proffesional disk is lost so i think i will just dounload a new
office 97 proffesional and install it from that so i can make it licensed to
me. PLAESE WRITE BACK!!!!!!!
