Error 1904

I keep getting "ERROR 1904" when trying to upload WORKS
SUITE 2004 onto my laptop. My laptop is fine otherwise,
and the software is OEM, never used, brand new.

My operating system is Window 98 and, only when I use
setup to upload the Works Suite 2004 disk number one, I
soon get the following:

"ERROR 1904. Setup cannot register module c:\program
files\common files\ado\msador15.dll"

Can I fix this myself? Does anyone know exactly how to do
it?

Download and install DCOM98:
http://www.microsoft.com/com/dcom/dcom98/dcom1_3.asp

Reboot when installed, then run the Works setup again. If you still get the error,
click 'Ignore' in the error box, and continue with setup....the program may install
successfully anyway.

If it does not, read this article and try the first workaround, to register the file
(msador15.dll, in your error message):
