All icons on desktop open winzip when clicked Please Help
Hello All,
I mistakenly associated some files to WinZip using "view" "file types", now when I click on desktop application icons WinZip starts. Can anyone help me out of this dilemma? Thanks MMJII |

Create new shortcuts. Right click the desktop, new shortcut, browse to the
program's folder, click the program's execute file, click OK and follow the on screen prompts. That .reg file works when the .lnk association is broke. He screwed up the

Thanks for ail the info, however when I attempted to repair the links the
way you suggested. the shortcut still loads winzip, if I click on the actual ..exe the program loads. Any further help is greatly appreciated MMJII "Ron Badour" wrote in message ... What happens when you right click the .exe file, select: create short cut
