Intermittent Error on start-up/Repeating keys
I am desperate after several weeks of research to solve an
intermittment start-up error, coded OE:01A7:BFF7754B4. It has started to occur in the last three months...the only programmes installed prior were McAfee Virus Scan (now uninstalled). Is it the cause of a constant repetition of a few specified letters whenever typing text in various programmes? If not repeating, they are dormant and fail to appear. No site is able to shed any light on this. Is someone able to advise? Thanks Sioux |

0E errors are often caused by faulty display drivers..... try this
Reboot to Safe Mode Open Device Manager Remove ALL Display Adapters Remove ALL Monitors Reboot to Normal Mode - Windows will reinstall the required drivers - hopefully curing your problem. -- Noel Paton (MS-MVP 2002-2005, Windows) Nil Carborundum Illegitemi http://www.btinternet.com/~winnoel/millsrpch.htm http://tinyurl.com/6oztj Please read http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm on how to post messages to NG's "Sioux" wrote in message ... Thanks for your reply Noel. (I am new this this type of
problem solving so quite thrilled someone answered!) I am just about to do a little research re BIOS as well....the biggest problem is the repetition of keys but I am going to try your suggestion. If you had any ideas about that would appreciate them too.
