Nothing I have seen suggested here is amongst these programs, but this
article is worth a read as well as the links given within the article --

I know I may sound paranoid on this point but maybe when you think a 24.2
connection is heavenly, you begin to deeply resent sharing your bandwidth
with the electronic equivalent of telemarketers, identity thieves and
spammers.

BTW Ron, you are the first one I have heard use the term "scumware" and I
think I am going to start using it. :-)
