Advice on Browser Hijack Problem
I have a hijack problem. Have attempted all the initial fixes (CWShredder,
Ad-Aware, Spybot) which have not resolved the problem. I have downloaded the Hijackthis and followed instructions on making obvious fixes and then posted a log to the spyware forums. I have not yet received a response; I am sure the folks on the forum are very busy so no problem here, I just need to get my computer running again. Currently I can not use the IE browser at all and my system is running sluggish and somehow this hijack problem (or my attempts to fix them) has caused Notepad to be disabled. Any thoughts/advice on whether or not reformatting the hard drive and starting clean is a decent alternative. I realize it takes time to reinstall everything but at leats I would be at a clean starting point. Thanks in advance for any advice. Keith |

See if this page helps! Note the statement to reboot
after each step before checking to see if the problem has been corrected. Good Luck! http://www.securiteam.com/securityre...RP0L0UD5U.html -----Original Message----- I have a hijack problem.
