Thanks and more questions about the Avast AV
thanks again guys for all your help pertaining to Avast .
I have downloaded the avast but have yet to run it. Have been reading over the faq's first and found this at their site: "Second, there is a special plugin for MS Outlook only; it is completely transparent, requiring no special settings" Just what do I have to do here on my end and does this pertain to my MS Outlook "EXPRESS 6" ? Seems like there is quite a bit going on with the avast program that I am unsure of how to use properly such as the virus chest ( I think that is what it is called, and so forth. ) It also seems it may not be totally "outlook express 6" friendly? I am somewhat computer inept and suppose I am just accustomed to Norton doing most everything for me ( at least I HOPE it was, for the most part) by default. How user friendly is the Avast program for an computer challenged one such as myself-what are some key points I need to read and buff up on before using? Thanks again, Matt |

Check out the above site, Matt. Lots of good info. And, as far as Outlook and Outlook Express, they are two different animals, AFAIK.
