memory not recognized
I had windows 98 SE with 64MB RAM and I purchased a 128MB
RAM upgrade to 192MB. Everything worked fine until last week I reinstalled my Windows 98 SE and the system now only recognizes 64MB only. I had checked the memory slots on the motherborad and they all worked fine. Is there anything I should do to get my 128MB RAM back? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. |

memory not recognized
Hi Lee,
Does the BIOS detect the RAM at system startup? Check MSConfig - Advanced - and make sure "Limit memory to" is unchecked. -- Regards, Bert Kinney [MS-MVP DTS] http://dts-l.org/ How to Configure Outlook Express for Internet News: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=171164 "lee" wrote I had windows 98 SE with 64MB RAM and I purchased a 128MB RAM upgrade to 192MB.
