That's good to read. I'm still unclear as to why you were seeing the
error message you reported if the problem was due to your firewall but it's hardly important now that you've got it to work. The BSODs I was getting when running it on a Win ME VPC were probably also due to the rather special setup that a VPC uses when communicating across the net. Also the program you were running was different from the one I was using which was 1.45 itself None of which is now important as you have now managed to unlock your phone. -- Mike Maltby MS-MVP ingber wrote: I solved the problem with the program running on ME. Instructions were to disable the firewall, which I had done. It was not clear there was any connection to the error message. However, when I completely prevented the firewall and antivirus from loading on startup, the program started normally. The software then updated itself with v1.45 and the unlock proceeded smoothly. I do not understand the problem, but the phone now works on another network. Thanks to all for your efforts. |
