Wish I could share your enthusiasm, H, but what we are doing in Iraq is
making me sick. Things on the homefront don't look much different either.
Either we change course, or take a beating in world opinion and don't tell
me it wouldn't matter.
Glad to get this off my chest.
From here on I promise to mind my own business.

Harry.

Thanks, Ed......glad to see someone else shares my "live and let live"
philosophy. (of course, that only goes as far as when it intrudes on me

or
my personal beliefs.....then I will fight for what I feel is right).

I'm half Limey, myself......most of my living relatives are in the UK. I
don't put anyone down for race, religion, country of origin, politics,

etc.
as long as they don't trespass on me or mine.

And for Shane.......I'll just say that one man CAN change the world, if he

Very well said Heirloom. I'm also an American and do have UK friends.

I
for example do take offense when someone puts down people from the UK.

We
all do have problems, but one should never generalize *all* the people,
let
alone races, etc. of a country. Yes, I believe there are good people

As for paying that much money to a person, this is beyond our control,

No prob, Harry. You are, indeed, entitled to your opinions and to share
them is your privilidge. That's what makes this country of ours so great.
Not enough room in this NG for me to express my standings on the Iraq
scenario, so, I won't even try.

Now is your chance, H. George Bush is asking for suggestions for a better
approach than his. He can be reached over the internet, I believe. If not,
you can always call or write, or maybe even talk to Senorita Rice.
