Win98 update - german

I have machine with win98 OS (German language edition),
and because am in Australia have had to update to Win98SE
+ critical update using English updates.

I now can't get the Start menu to display programs, as
German for "program" is "programme".

Any suggestions much appreciated. Cheers.

Once you mix language files, the only way I have heard of straightening
things out is by formatting the drive and reinstalling the original language
version of Windows. Of course this also requires installing all your
software.
