put in wrong adapter--help!
Hi,
I selected the wrong adapter on win98 and now when I boot up, I just get a black screen. I went into safe mode and changed the adapter but I get a message saying that any settings made in safe mode will revert back to what they were before. help! any way to reverse it back to the way it was? thanks in advance

put in wrong adapter--help!
Boot to safe mode and remove all the adapter devices. Windows will install
a default VGA adapter when you reboot. Then you can install the correct adapter. -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (DTS) "Dale" wrote in message ...
