win 98 Startup

when windows 98 starts I receive an error message that
says the following:

Script C:\windows\system32\rundll32.vbe
line 1
char 1
error could not create object named WScript. shell
code 80040154
Source Wscript Create Object

this error opens in a window twice on the desktop. Both
windows contain the same message
any help would be much obliged

Spyware/scumware/adware are causing numerous system problems. I recommend
