I apologize if I hit the wrong groups here, but I could not find a
Windows 3.x exclusive Newsgroup that was active and I know that people
in these groups would be able to answer my question.

Okay I bought VPC 1.x and created a Zip 250 boot disk that boots Mac OS
7.5.5. Once in that os I then run VPC which runs Windows 3.11 (also on
the zip disk). (My mac is old, and cannot emulate anything behond 95
with speed. Perhaps I might load Windows 95 again if VPC 1.x will
support it, but I might be lacking disk space and speed if I ran 95 from
a Zip disk on a machine as old as mine).

Okay here is the error I am getting everytime I boot Windows 3.11.

"Application Error

PROGRAM caused a General Protection Fault in module MSADLIB.DRV at
0002:0325."

I am not familiar with troubleshooting Windows 3.x and want to fix this
issue without doing something like reinstalling. VPC shipped with Win
3.x on the CD, so I believe this is a change from future versions that
require a user to install the OS. Whatever configs of 3.x were done by
Connectix. I did not play with anything.

Thank you,

John

I am really looking forward to all the replies here and hopefully we can
all
get into a discussion about the advantages and disadvantages of using
Virtual
Machine as compared to a multi-boot with 98SE, XPPRO and other operating
systems.
