Install W98 over W95
I recently purchased a Windows 98 2E CD at a computer market but I've been told that since its an OEM version it may not install over my existing W95 because it expects to find no existing operating system. I was also told that there's a single W95 system file that can be deleted or re-named to overcome this.
Can someone tell me if the above is correct, and if so, which file needs to be deleted or re-named. Thanks, Ken G. |
