toshiba usbflash problem
Hi
I did not get any help from Google or Toshiba/Iris I have toshiba PA1411U-1M1G USB flash drive but I cannot get it to work in Win98 first edition(I suppose the drivers I downloaded for the U2E usb flash are not the right for the pa14411 model nor are the Maximus's generic usb drivers (nusb31.exe) because they report 'wrong win98' Let me know where to find the right drivers or the solution to problem best regards |

Only weeks later improved USB version 2 appeared -- which was a main reason Win98SE was created. Your flash drive probably has USB 2 drivers which your OS cannot support. Alternatives: 1. Upgrade the OS to Win98SE (difficult for laptops, which often need non-Microsoft drivers) 2. Locate flash drive drivers that enable USB 1 as well as USB 2. -- Don Phillipson Carlsbad Springs (Ottawa, Canada) |

Yes, if an upgrade. Yes if a full installation of Win98SE, and it reports finding an older Registry and asks if you want to keep it. -- Don Phillipson Carlsbad Springs (Ottawa, Canada) |
