slow startup

I am having a similar problem. Was this problem
resolved? If so, how? Thanks.

Bring up the boot menu exactly as if you were going

Safe Mode. However,
instead of Safe Mode, choose Step-by-Step startup. This
will show you each
step of the startup process as it runs. Press the Enter

default value of each line, but note what the line is
that's executing.
Watch for any item that takes several minutes to
execute.

Most of the wait time is before the boot menu can be
accessed. F8 key won't bring up menu for several
minutes
after computer is turned on.
