Default BLACK ICONS

Hello:

I run windows 98. The icons in the quick launch are
black, as are the icons in the program menu. Everything
in the desktop is fine. The other afflicted area is when
I open a program in Word/Excel or any other program. All
icons are just black squares. What is the problem?

I tried sending the ShellIconCache to the recycle bin,
but that did not work after restarting

Thanks.

Use Google to search for the download for Microsoft's
TweakUI for Windows 98 and run its Rebuild Icon feature
under the utility's Repair tab.
