slow printing
I use win 98 and have a HP deskjet 612c. It seems to be
stuck in "high quality" mode and prints vey slowly. I have reinstalled the driver from the CD that came with the printer. Any ideas? |

Go to the printer properties (right click printer and choose properties).
Then you will see several tabs depending on the driver installed. For my HP, there is a tab that says "Paper/Quality". Look for something similar. On that page, under Print Quality, there is a drop down arrow that gives me several choices from fast draft to maximum dpi. Choose a lower quality than is currently set and click Okay or Apply.
