Ditto!! If it tastes good, I drink it.....period. Most of the wines that
Jack mentions are rather sweet, I think. I prefer them very dry.

Psssst, Heirloom.......reds go with chili......or any red meat. Whites go
with chicken and fish. According to the *olde rules*. Me, I prefer white
with all of the above, but it must be no more than a *zero or a one*.

But to be honest, give me a Pepsi on the rocks anytime and I would be happy.
It's also good for what ails ya.....like paint fumes, etc.

Oh, a Rancho Zabaco Dancing Bull Zinfandel, perhaps!

And some British-like quinine water, between meals, will be just fine.

Oh, goodness. You are going to be totally lost here, Mr.
Martinelli.....much the same way I am reading your report on wines. If

you
are accustomed to having wine with dinner or after, you better bring some
with you. (Tyler is dry) I have a bottle of B&B and Cointreau, both of
which are, probably, 10 years, or more, old.
Some of the 'bite' has evaporated by now. Other than those, your choices
are milk, Pepsi, Squirt, bottled or filtered water or VERY sweet tea.
Actually, the delicate bouquet of latex goes well with a sparkling glass

of
Pepsi on the rocks.

You're on. I'll keep you notified.

Personally, I think the Californian, Washington state, Australian,

Chilean,
Argentinean, German, Italian, and New Zealand wines offer the best bang

for the buck, ... but good values and interesting tastes/aromas exist
everywhere that good wine is grown. There is a wonderful red wine

produced in a
winery just west of Fort Worth, Texas, ... no kidding! 90 pts. from Wine
Enthusiast, ... and I agree. Who wudda' thunk it!

I recently discovered the Japanese Choya Umeshu plum wine, which is most
interesting. Very complex and nutty flavored, almost sherry-like. The
plum itself is very unusually flavored.

I suppose some ten million wines are now offered commercially each year.
We are truly living in the greatest wine age! Quality has never been

higher.

Did you want to talk about port, or madeira, or even marsala?
Or German or Niagara, Canada, ice wine? Or, maybe, Australian
botrytris-infected reislings and sauternes?

We can discuss this further when I get there.

What do you care? People who've been answering questions in this group more
or less since Win ME was released have been effectively proven over several
years to be allowed to chat amongst themselves in between helping others.
You might liken it to a workforce being more productive when it enjoys going
to work. Of course, you could always take it up with Microsoft.
