When I run Skybot it always comes up with "ds exploit" as
a problem.

What is this please?

Assuming you mean Spybot, then it is a known problem.
If you are up to date with patches, then set Spybot to ignore it.

I hate having to guess. but I think you got two things totally screwed up.

You have Spybot and it declared a DSO exploit.

If so, it is a False Positive declaration. If I am correct, next time please post
"accurate" information next time.

I'm not sure it's *always* a false flag, but it almost always is. As noted, if
you are certain that your system is clean, then here's a suggested fix from
http://forums.aumha.org

If you would like to avoid this /false-flag/ being detected in the future,
open SpyBot in advanced mode, go to: Settings Ignore Products on the
"All Products" "Tab" scroll to "DSO Exploit" check that item only.
You're done, SpyBot will no longer flag this item.

I'm not sure, but I get it too. I have a feeling it is

picking up on a
windows component but as I say I'm not sure. I don't

think it's anything to
worry about.

Once is a mistake, twice in a query is stupidity.
If you ask for help, you MUST be accurate in defining the question to get the correct
answer(s).

Skybot Sbybot
DS exploit DSO Exploit

I hope you learned a lesson from this experience.

BTW: What is this supposed to mean "I do apologise but why waste your precious time
replying."
{ You seerm to make many mistakes ;-) }
