Default Quick Launch Toolbar

Using Windows ME, For some reason the quick launch bar on
the left side of the toolbar has disappeared. How do I
get it back and move certain icons to it? The toolbar on
the right with the icons for start up is fine. Thanks.

Right click on a blank area of the Task Bar, select Toolbars, a second
menu will fly out, check that Quick Launch is checked, if not click on
Quick Launch.

See KB 240133 - "Error Message: Cannot Create Toolbar for"
(http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=240133). This explains that one
possible reason for the message you are seeing is if you have for some
reason deleted the Quick Launch folder which by default is at
C:\Windows\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch.
Note that to see this folder using Explorer you will first have to enable
the viewing of hidden files and folders (Tools | Folder Options | View and
check "Show hidden files and folders" and uncheck "Hide protected
operating system files").
