Where is Kernel32.dll in ME CD?
I was told by a debugger that my kernel32.dll is damaged
so need to reload it. I know how to extract from cab files but I could NOT find kernel32.dll anywhere in my ME CD! So, where is it? All I need to do is to boot off of diskette and copy that file over. |

If it does complete the bootup process and you can use the Start menu then there is at least a 99 and 44/100% probability that kernel32.dll is intact and functioning, even if you are experiencing error messages that mention kernel32.dll. Post a description of your problem, including the text of any error messages, back here and we will see what we can do to help you to solve the problem. Note: If you are receiving error messages in the format "something has caused an error in kernel32.dll" then press Alt+D while that error message is still on the screen to bring up the detailed error message. Copy the first part of the detailed error message, up to the word Registers:, and include that in your reply back to this newsgroup. Good luck Ron Martell Duncan B.C.
