Default network drops out

Hi.

Got a network here with a mix of ME and XP machines.

The ME machines are having trouble seeing the other
computers on the network. Some days they can see
everyone and others they can't.

When they can't see the other computers (in my network
places) they can still access the internet through the
adsl router and you can still ping the other machines.
They just don't show up in My Network Places. Actually
come to think of it the Worgroup doesn't show up. So
obviously you can't get to the machines.

Anybody have any ideas about this?
