Format hard disk
How do I format my hard disk. I have tried right clicking
it and choosing "format". I get a dialogue box that tells me that I can't format the disk because programs are in use. I have tried using the (control)(Alt)(del) to shut down all running programs. I still get the same dialogue box. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Al

Reboot the system with your start diskette and from the dos prompt type format /?.
