Default "Microsoft Networking" error message on start-up

The following message is displayed every time I start my
computer:

Microsoft Networking

A network error has occurred. You might not have
access to some network resources.

I have a home computer that isn't even ON a network. Any
suggestions as to how to clear this message?

Thanks.
