Default Win 98 SE Missing file

I get a message that Program.exe cannot be found and asking for its location. It
does not appear to be present on my machine and I don't know how to search the
Win98 disc for it where I assume it is filed. Any help in this task would be
very welcome.
With kind regards,

Basil Grose

This message means that the file association for one or more files has been
broken - Windows no longer knows how to open them, so it's guessing. If
you'd told us under exactly what circumstances you get this message we could
provide more detailed help, but since we're guessing what's broke at this
point see this search to see if any apply to you:

There is no such application as program.exe and it may be a faulty
association.

Win98 has no file PROGRAM.EXE. The
error calling for it may derive from a filepath
in C:\Program Files\ or something else.
Repost giving more detail about your
problem. E.g. if it is a matter of File
Association (documented in Help system)
what filetype were you trying to open?
