For DVDs, check the settings in the DVD software that plays them, such as WinDVD or PowerDVD(there are others). Please don't use all caps when making a post. MM |

MM Dear MM, Hi, Thank you for responding to my posting. I am referring to either purchased ones or ones that I have burned. Neither will auto start. I have WinDVD but am unsure as to how do I check the settings. Your help would be very much appreciated. Thank you, CP . |

Have you checked the drive settings to make sure Autorun is enabled?
Right click My Computer Properties Device Manager Select your CD-Rom, click Properties, then the Settings tab, and make sure the autorun checkbox is ticked. -- Regards Steven Burn Ur I.T.
