Default Question about PeoplePc

I realize this is the wrong group to ask question of this sort, but I am
having a difficult time getting to the proper supporting group from the
service Provider.
I have a dial-up setup and after hearing how fast PeoplePc would allow you
to navigate thru the web, I signed up for a short time to evaluate it. The
problem is that, once on the Web, there is clutter from pages opening and
such, but no visible method for me to close any of them, outside of going
back to previous pages and still facing clutter. Does anyone know how to
close any of the sites or get to a simple and clear page from where I can see
what I am doing?
Thanks for any suggestions!

Such products are snake oil. Get rid of them.

Default Question about PeoplePc

Thanks, Sandy, for your reply!
You confirmed that was in my mind and feel very foolish for having signed
up, however short the time may be.
Perhaps you can help me out on the best way to get to the Internet. I
currently have AOL and have been on it for years. The reason for me to stay
with it is that a close relative, with Children and not too many means, can
use AOL (on my Account) even from a different location. We all are on dial-up
setups. As you can imagine our browsing speed is not so great. I do not know
if other Providers would allow sharing, as we now do. Cable is out, since I
am the only one with it. We both have the same Telephone System. Is there a
way for doing what we are doing with another setup that could improve
browsing and downloading speed?
I know, that is a stilly request, but I thought to give it a try.
Thanks, again!

The only that I could recommend would be modem bonding. You'll find it
described in this old article:

Thanks for your suggestion, Sandi!
I guess that it might be best to leave it alone and simply become more
patient.
