Default IE auto reporting followed by shutdown

For the last while, when using links within an Internet site or trying to go
a link to other sites, IE6 automatically starts a "Microsoft Internet
Explorer report" stating that IE Explorer has encountered a problem and need
to close. This program also gives the option to send a report to Microsoft
then shuts down IE.

Any suggestion on how to resolve this problem?
Did run Ad-Aware and Norton anti-virus. No problem found

Thanks.
