Blue Screen on Start Up or automatic shutdown as Windows is loading.
On my Laptop, when I am bringing the system up, I either get an automatic
shutdown or sometimes it will give me a blue screen. The message says that there is a fatal fault at 0028:CA14BDBO. What does that mean and where do I look for the problem. Does Windows 98 have a log record of the startup process where the problem may be defined? Any help would be appreciated. I have reinstalled Windows 98 three times and the problem continues. I assume the problem is with an application that Windows cannot start. Thanks for any help you can provide! Ed |
