1782 Disk Controller Failure
Can someone please give me resolution to this error
message: "1782 Disk Controller Failure". My PC allows me to hit F1 and boot up into the software just fine, but I always get this message. Please advise, thanks in advance.... Nick

Don't quite know if this exactly fits your situation or even applies, but
the MS KB pulls this article from your error report:- Err Msg: "1782 Disk Controller Failure" Compaq Deskpro 2000, 4000, or 6000 http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;232819 It *might* point you in the right direction.
