could this be a missing file in outlook express. When downloading
freeware and then removing it. could I have deleted a file from
outlook?

One web site I found indicates that this error may be caused by
corrupt files for Mail Washer Pro and/or its First Alert service.

If you have this program installed try uninstalling it temporarily and
see if that remedies the problem. Also check with the manufacturers
of the program for any updates or patches regarding this issue before
you reinstall it.
