Default Unable to install programs

My ver is actually 2000 professional - did not see category for that. Every
time I ry to install a program the setup comes up ands says there is not
enough disk space - I have 95G free on my drive. I have recently tried to
install some software for my PalmOne and also Word 2000.
Any ideas?

I included the Windows 2000 general support newsgroup and they should be
able to help you.

this may sound stupid but have you partioned the drive, are you sure you are
installing onto the correct drive etc etc etc?

No - checked all the stupid stuff already. The space is really there and
available - or so it seems.
