ActiveX controls
I have IE6.0 with Security controls on Internet set to Medium. Since ActiveX
files can be corrupted, hijacked, and be reconfigured to disclose so much personal data, how can you maintain a secure system? 1] Why isn't this level sufficient to allow Active X, or do I have to lower Security settings to Low on trusted Sites? 2] Do I have to change my Zone Alarm firewall settings too? 3] At the McAfee site, for example, you need to allow ActiveX settings. I have done this, but apparently my computer doesn't recognize the change. Is there some change necessay in the Control Panel? Help please. Thai Myshu |
