Default HELP, My windows won't start

Hi, I am running Windows 98, and today I ran into a
problem. I was using the intenet and my Norton Anti-
Virus told me that I had to update my virus definitions,
so I did and then my computer had to restart. After is
restarted, I tried to boot up and when it got to that
black screen where all the white writting is that
describes stuff about your computer, it got stuck on this
screen. Now it is asking me for a boot disk. I put a
boot disk in and now it is asking my for disk with
definitions. Can someone help me please? Is there a way
to reset my computer or does anyone know how to resole
this?
Thanks

I suggest you contact Symantec--its their crappy product and they may know
how to fix it.
