Default icon bar moving

The following is right out of your computers Helo & Support option:
To move the taskbar

Click an empty area on the taskbar, and then drag the taskbar to a different
location on the desktop.

I saw this happen once before but it was a longgg time ago,
So could someone explain to me what it was that my wife did that would cause
the icon bar at the bottom of the windows screen to move to the right side
of the same screen top to bottom..
It could only be moved to a half screen square, not back to the bottom as
normal..

I did a restore to the day before and everything is now back to normal,
But I'd still like to know just what it was she did to cause the change ..

Thanks,

Unfortunately, not strictly true Corday. It is dependent on the proviso I
alluded earlier in my reply to RTS, i.e. the 'Enable moving and resizing'
box is checked and active under the Task Bar section in the taskbar's
Properties \ Advanced - under 'Start Menu and Task Bar'.

If unchecked, the taskbar is locked in position. (Hence my reply giving the
cure to prevent Rocky's wife from moving it again by un-checking the box).
